The Old Wimbledonians Under 11s Warriors made a flying start to the season at King’s College’s Friday Night Lights rugby festival.

They opened with a dominant 7–1 win over Battersea Ironsides, then edged a tight, physical contest against Hammersmith 4–3. That sent them straight through to the final against Old Cranleighans.

The boys were phenomenal: shutting down some strong attacking rugby and running out 7–2 winners to lift the trophy. Every player contributed, stayed fully invested and rose to the occasion.

A brilliant night and a great way to begin the campaign.
