Old Wimbledon Warriors U13s were fortunate enough to be invited to the season opener at Whitgift. This event is less about competition and more about preparing the players for the season ahead. Notably for the under 13s, the prospect of more organised scrummaging. We were lucky enough to receive coaching from Quins prop Harry Williams, followed by 4 semi-contact games. Quite a treat to play on the beautifully manicured Whitgift pitch! Also a good heads up as to what we can expect for the rest of the season in terms of rules and physicality.
